Update
We still have this book and cherish it in 2025! We had a few Thomas themed parties and related gifts over the past 11 years.
Bobcat is turning four…
Bobcat’s birthday is coming up next month. My little guy turns FOUR. It’s so hard to believe it! It was only yesterday that I found out about his arrival. And 5 seconds later he was born. And another 5 seconds later he’s now four years old. How is that even possible? Anyway, mummy. Put the sentimentality aside and concentrate on finding the right birthday present for the wee man. So I asked what would he like for his birthday and he said – naturally – Thomas. Just like that, meaning probably ANYTHING Thomas the Tank Engine related. But of course it can’t be anything as it’s his forth birthday and possibly the first one he’ll have memories about. Therefore I like to make it memorable for him.
Personalised books for little bookworms
And luckily I just started to work with Personalised Parties for a different project and as browsing on their site, I discovered this original edition of Thomas the Tank Engine which can be personalised. I then knew, that that’s what I wanted for him for his birthday as he loves the story and of course loves reading and story time in general. And because he can now spell and recognise keywords we taught him by picture reading I’m certain that he will be blown away by seeing his name on every single page. Because the idea is, that you can choose 2 different sentences (or a set of few words) plus the featured name, to add them to the front page and on the top of each page.
Our review
The quality of the product is outstanding. It’s beautifully designed and both the book and the presentation box are made of superb quality paper. The presentation box has luxurious, silver letters. This gift really is a collector’s item – so it might make a great present for grown up Thomas fans too! It makes a fantastic keepsake too, a memory from a special day. This classic story with the original version and pictures really makes this book a must have for every little and big Thomas fans.
