Eco Friendly, Personalised Gift Ideas From Dust & Things Plus Giveaway!

Disclaimer: gifted items

People who know me also know that I don’t like surprises. I love, however, presents with a meaning and even better: presents on a mission! Like a lot’s of other people I have a soft spot for personalised presents. So, if I find something which ticks all the boxes, I’m going to share it with you.

About Dust & Things

I met the lovely people from Dust & Things recently – and even though we haven’t really met in real life, I feel like they know me. When I received my order and opened it I found lovely little notes stamped on the order summary saying: “designed by Bec”, “engraved by Cazz” and “packed by Tom”. So, I know, that these lovely people fulfilled my order. What a wonderful touch.

I picked two items for this review: a solid wood coloured edge board and a vegan cork notebook from their wide range of personalised gifts. The solid wood coloured edge board is perfect for serving cheese (I also received a small glass jar selection of chutnies in a cute card board present box) cakes, mezze, or tapas kind of sharing food. It’s 100% natural wood. I picked the lovely mint colour for the edge as it matches perfectly with the blog’s signature colour.

The vegan cork notebook is sustainably crafted from recycled paper with the outer material harvested from the bark of cork trees in Portugal. (Cork is very versatile and a great, cruelty-free and sustainable option as opposed to leather.)

I absolutely love both items. They are not only the finest quality but I feel I love them even more because they have my name on it.

For both gifts, there are plenty of variations for personalisation and no letter number restrictions when it comes to graving (hand crafted items, so need to).
