What does clean beauty mean?
Clean beauty refers to beauty products such as cosmetics and skincare, and often also includes personal care products that are made of clean ingredients, meaning they are free of harmful or toxic ingredients. The most common toxic ingredients are parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), phthalates, triclosan, formaldehyde, butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and all synthetic fragrances and artificial colours – to mention the main culprits.

I started to use them all straight away as was actually about to open new jars and running low.
My favourite of the lot is the 2% caffeine-serum. It’s a de-puffing solution for tired eyes – which now I seem to have all the time! Especially in the cold months, when sun tan can’t hide any of it. I was surprised how effective it was given the price point of £5.99 which seemed very cheap – but boy, does it work! It’s enriched with caffeine, peptides, and aloe vera. I used it for a few days so far (every day) and I can see and feel the difference. It tightens the skin too – and it feels cool and smooth after application.
The retinol firming day-lift moisturiser was also what I needed for skin that already shows signs of age. Skin feels moisturised and happy after a few days use. Formulated with retinol and organic strawberry – 98% natural ingredients! Again, the price of the product is amazingly affordable at £12.99 – so definitely worth the try. I’ll update this in a few weeks with more results.
Going with the retinol day moisturiser I have also tried the anti aging 1% retinol + squalane complex facial serum – this fits perfectly with the morning routine.

The giveaway is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over.
There is no maximum amount of times an individual can enter, and each entry will be in with a chance of winning.
ONE person will be picked at random as a winner. The prize provider will send the prize directly to the winner as soon as is reasonably possible. (It is the winner’s responsibility to reply with their full name and address in order to receive their prize).
The winner will have 5 days to respond to their winner’s email. Otherwise we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
