Set up your Instant Pot or slow cooker you are using.Add every ingredients to the insert of your Instant Pot, all at the same time.
Put the lid on the Instant Pot, secure the lid and set the steam release valve to sealing. Use the the pressure cook mode. Adjust the time to 30 minutes at high pressure. It should be ready in 15-20 minutes but I wanted very smooth butter, so needed to apples to be very soft.
When it's finished, let pressure release naturally for 20 minutes. you can then let remaining steam release. Remove lid.Let the apple stew cool down. Use a blender or a food processor to puree the apples. If you feel it's too runny, saute in the Instant Pot until thickened to desired consistency.
Spoon into jars and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to a year.
